trying to find my nitch

So I can't deny the fact that I miss US...sorta kinda a lot...not enough to move back...but enough to put me in a funk today. Well not a massive funk...but a little. I miss my people, dont get me wrong Sedges' family and friends are very much becoming my people... but I still kinda feel like when I moved middle schools in the middle of the year. I wasnt totally the new kid as I had Travis with me and half the school I already knew from church but I was still the new kid. I hadn't grown up with them from kindergarten and didn't have all the stories and memories. (and the people that I had grown up with I never really got a chance to say good-bye and being 13 it's not super simple to keep in touch) But still everyone was super nice and I soon found my group, but the years of history still wern't there.  Fast forward through high school and such and I only have a handful of those friends left. But thats not to say I don't have the most amazing friends...many of which I've only known for a couple of years...whoa when did this turn into a reflecting post...eh I'll just go with it. Anyways I miss my people...they get me...they know my heartbreaks and my stumbles and they know me at my best...they knew when I needed ice cream and knew when I needed to just go and dance...I miss them. I still have them as friends but living 5200 miles away kinda makes it hard for them to know when I need ice cream...and it's hard for me to know when they need cupcakes. I'm sure I will again find my niche and becoming way more comfortable and myself and become the Sheriff Mal-Mal I am meant to be.

On the upside THE MOMMA IS COMING!! I am soo excited...I miss her more than I can express.

The boy is back at his old job working in London for the Ministry of Justice and is soo much happier which is such a relief. I love being a wife and love finding out that 1) I'm not a terrible cook 2)who knew I was domestic 3) I do in fact make some amazing cupcakes.
